New Hampshire Ten Year Transportation Plan
The New Hampshire Ten Year Transportation Plan lists the transportation projects and programs for the State of New Hampshire for a ten year period. The Ten Year Plan is revised on a two year cycle with input from the public, municipalities, regional planning commissions, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation, and the Governor's Advisory Commission on Intermodal Transportation (GACIT). The Ten Year Plan project list is sent to the New Hampshire Legislature for final review and then to the NH Governor for approval. The approved Ten Year Plan is the basis for the first four years will become the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) in the subsequent Transportation Improvement Program cycle.
The information included below is a listing of prioritized regional transportation projects, recommended by Strafford Regional Planning Commission for consideration as part of the State Ten-Year Plan. The list developed by Strafford Regional Planning Commission is a composite of projects from our 2013-2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan and our community project solicitation process.
